License course
A course focused on adopting the educational concept of Bike Licence. The topics covered will prepare you for teaching basic MTB skills and maneuvers, using modern teaching methods and exercises.
  • position and balance (descent and ascent)
  • speed control (braking, shifting, cadence)
  • terrain reading
  • turning (off-camber and bermed turns)
  • front and rear wheel lift
  • in teaching, we will focus on lesson modeling, effective communication, and feedback

Conditions/Requirements for Course Applicants:

Minimum age 17 years. Smooth riding on pumptrack tracks and berms. Smooth riding on flow and rocky trails up to the red level. Climbing and descending steep trail sections. Front and rear wheel lifts.

 

The course price includes instruction by our professional lecturers and the issuance of the ITC-D license

 

Course Schedule:

First day: 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Second day: 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Third day: 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

 

Lectures:

The basics of first aid for MTB (Mountain Biking)

 

 

The method of completion consists of 3 parts:

  1. Methodical output, teaching
  2. Technical demonstration (riding in a neutral and ready position, cornering in a leaning and open corner, front and rear wheel lift)
  3. Theoretical test

 

A successful graduate will receive the Instructor and Guide for MTB License (level ITC-D) issued by the Association of Professional Mountain Bike Instructors and Guides MTB z.s.

Upon successful completion of the course, the graduate is prepared to:

  • work with safety rules and risk management
  • manage instruction and communicate effectively with clients during lessons
  • conduct riding instruction on pump tracks, skill centers, and selected beginner-friendly trails
  • demonstrate and explain technical riding elements within the scope of the obtained qualification
  • design and lead appropriate improvement exercises
  • complete the ITC-C course and skill camps

 

Holders of the Bike License ITC-D are eligible to work as instructors on pump tracks, under professional supervision at skill centers, and on selected MTB trails specifically designated and suitable for beginners. With the ITC-D license, it’s important for the instructor to follow the school’s supervisor’s instructions when selecting a teaching location and to teach within the limits of their documented qualification.
